Our client, a rapidly growing Service Sector Organisation based in Birmingham, has experienced an impressive growth curve in recent years. As a result, they are now strengthening their finance team to support their continued success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and motivated team in a pivotal role that offers study support and career advancement.
 
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department. You will lead a small but highly motivated transactional team, ensuring they meet their targets and maintain high standards of financial accuracy. In addition, you will be responsible for management accounts, board reporting, and providing profitability analysis on the various contracts.
 
Your key responsibilities as the Finance Manager will include:

  • Oversee the production of month end close
  • Produce Management Accounts Pack including useful commentary and insight
  • Manage Cash flow forecasting process
  • Ensure correct accounting procedures are applied by the finance team
  • Support the transactional team in the event of absence and holidays
 
To be considered for the role of Finance Manager, you will require the following attributes:
  • ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified/ part qualified or QBE
  • Demonstrated track record of enhancing analysis and streamlining processes within SME setting
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Hands on mindset willing to get involved in all tasks
