Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant:
Investigate and resolve accounts payable queries efficiently
Prepare and manage the weekly payment run
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing ones
Oversee supplier payments and ensure timely processing
Handle card payments and employee expenses
Report monthly and annual expenditure to department heads
Provide essential support to the wider finance team
What We're Looking For:
A strong work ethic and a proactive approach
Exceptional communication skills
Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel
An outgoing personality with a knack for building successful working relationships
Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
