We are thrilled to announce that Sheridan Maine has teamed up with a leading hospitality organisation to recruit a French-speaking Assistant Management Accountant. This position offers the chance to join their team at the head office, situated in the heart of London.
 
In this role, you will collaborate with team members to support the monthly management accounts process, along with other accounting tasks and projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the French and Belgian business portfolio, with a focus on delivering P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
 
Your responsibilities as the French-speaking Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• Play a key role in the monthly management accounts process by analysing spending, comparing it to the budget and prior year figures, and recommending adjustments as needed
• Partner with counterparts outside of finance to enhance their understanding of financial reports and to deepen the finance team’s insight into their departments
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries in the group’s General Ledger within the required timelines
• Assist with external audits and year-end closing for the group entities

• Must be fluent in French
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent planning abilities with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a management accounts role
• Experience supporting multi-property organisations
• Proficient in technology, particularly Excel; experience with Sage X3 is a plus
