Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a forward thinking and dynamic organisation who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join them for a 12 month contract.
The responsibilities as the Assistant Accountant will include:
Assist with the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Support the preparation of financial reports for budget holders and other stakeholders
Balance sheet reconciliations
Journal processing
Variance analysis
Ensuring all deadlines are met
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
External returns and reporting
To be considered for the role of Assistant Accountant:
Good ability with MS Office packages including Excel
Experience of working in a similar role
Excellent communication skills and ability to form strong external relationships
