Sheridan Maine is advertising on behalf of a respected and growing professional services organisation to recruit a Financial Planning Revenue Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to join a dynamic FP&A team, supporting revenue accounting, financial planning, and reporting across a diverse range of projects and business units.

This hybrid role provides the flexibility to work from home or office, while giving exposure to critical finance processes and opportunities to develop technical skills and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Planning Revenue Accountant include:
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate revenue schedules, reconciliations, and forecasts.
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for revenue streams.
  • Collaborating with project and commercial teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Providing insight and commentary on financial performance to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Supporting audits and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
The successful Financial Planning Revenue Accountant will have:
  • Experience in revenue accounting, FP&A, or financial planning roles.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
