Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to take the next step in your career? Sheridan Maine is partnering with a growing organisation in Central London to recruit a Payroll Manager who will lead and manage the payroll function for the business.
The Role:
As Payroll Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and driving improvements in payroll processes. You’ll work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

- Maintain and improve payroll systems, processes, and policies
- Provide leadership and guidance to payroll staff
- Support audits, month-end reporting, and ad-hoc payroll projects
- Act as a point of contact for employees on payroll-related queries
- Proven experience in payroll management, ideally in a growing organisation
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practice
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team
- Proficient with payroll software and Excel
