The Company
Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-regarded organisation within an award-winning network, based in Bromley, to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in driving strategic decision-making across the business. This is a hybrid role, with 4 days required in the office.

The Role
The Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for delivering financial insights, reporting, and analysis to support operational and strategic goals. You will oversee financial processes, manage a small team, and work closely with both internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and governance standards are maintained.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
  • Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and forecasts for management.
  • Leading site performance governance and presenting financial insights to the leadership team.
  • Managing the annual audit process and liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Coordinating tax compliance and supporting statutory reporting requirements.
  • Supervising a small team and supporting their development.
  • Collaborating with internal finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient processes.
  • Participating in ad hoc projects and supporting business improvement initiatives.

The successful Senior Finance Business Partner will possess:
  • A professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, FCCA, ACMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; experience with SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, or similar consolidation systems.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience supervising a small team.
