Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation based in Central London to recruit a Group Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong group consolidations experience to join a dynamic business in a key role.
 
Our client is seeking someone who is available to start as soon as possible and can support the finance function through a period of continued growth and development.
 
Working closely with senior finance leadership, the Group Management Accountant will take ownership of consolidated reporting, month-end processes, and delivering high-quality financial information to support business decision-making.
 
Key responsibilities of the Group Management Accountant will include:
  • Preparing monthly group management accounts and consolidated financial reports.
  • Managing the group consolidation process across multiple entities.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Producing financial analysis, commentary, and variance reporting.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Supporting statutory reporting and audit requirements.
  • Ensuring financial controls and processes are maintained and continuously improved.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial financial support.
  • Supporting statutory reporting and audit requirements.
  • Managing intercompany and group consolidation activities across multiple entities.
 
The ideal Group Management Accountant will:
  • Be fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Have previous experience in a Group Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Possess strong group consolidations experience.
  • Have excellent technical accounting knowledge.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Be available to start at short notice or immediately.
