As an Associate Manager – Corporate Tax, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will support complex tax matters, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued development of the corporate tax service line within a collaborative and forward-thinking practice.

Key Responsibilities as the Associate Manager - Corporate Tax will include:
  • Preparation of complex Business Tax returns: You will be responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of complex Business Tax returns. This will require a strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations, as well as a thorough knowledge of the tax implications of business transactions.

  • You will be expected to review the Business Tax returns prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax legislation and regulations.

  • Assisting with business tax development (writing articles, handling sales calls, working with the in-house marketing and sales teams)

  • Involvement in tax advisory projects: You will be involved in tax advisory projects, providing expert advice to clients on a range of tax matters.

  • Providing in-house training on Tax matters: As part of your role, you will be expected to provide in-house training on Tax matters, to ensure that all members of the team are up-to-date with changes to tax legislation and regulations.

  • Managing junior team members: There will be a responsibility for managing and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support as required to ensure their ongoing professional development. 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience of the Associate Manager - Corporate Tax:
  • CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills

  • Ccomfortable working with multiple stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent project management skills and be able to ensure that multiple projects are successfully delivered

  • Able to build excellent relationships with people, often resulting in engaged teams and additional client work
