Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a fast-paced, Top 40 UK accountancy practice that is seeking an Accounts & Tax Senior who will join their Bristol-based office on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Accountant seeking a varied and rewarding role where you’ll work with a diverse client portfolio and play a key part in supporting the firm’s continued growth and success.

About the Role
As an Accounts & Tax Senior, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, providing high-quality accounting and tax services. This position offers excellent exposure, professional development, and the chance to be part of a collaborative and ambitious team.

Your key responsibilities as the Accounts & Tax Senior:
  • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
  • Producing regular management accounts for clients
  • Liaising directly with clients to build strong relationships and provide first-class service.

To be considered for the role of Accounts & Tax Senior, you will have/be:
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax compliance.
