Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-regarded and continually expanding accountancy practice in Cambridge to appoint a Tax Manager. Key duties of a Tax Manager:
  • Manage and oversee a broad portfolio of tax clients, ensuring a first-class service.
  • Deliver accurate tax compliance work and support clients with technical queries and advisory needs.
  • Review and quality-check work produced by junior colleagues, providing support and coaching.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships while assisting with wider business initiatives.
  • Help drive improvements and contribute to the continued development of the tax function.
Qualifications for excelling as a Tax Manager:
  • Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA) or possessing equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong technical grounding in personal tax, corporate tax, or both.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and producing high-standard work.
  • Confident, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
