ACA/ACCA Accounts Manager

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established chartered accountancy firm in North London that is seeking an experienced ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Manager to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practice professional looking to take on a varied role that combines client management, technical accounting work, and team leadership within a supportive and professional environment. 

The Role:
As Accounts Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, overseeing the preparation of accounts and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. You will work closely with senior leadership while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
 

Your Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Manager: 

• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact 
• Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts 
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team 
• Supporting clients with accounting, tax, and business advisory matters 
• Ensuring work is delivered efficiently and in line with deadlines 
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value

To be considered for this Accounts Manager position, you will have/be:  

• ACA or ACCA qualified 
• Previous experience within a UK chartered accountancy practice 
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and compliance 
• Excellent communication and client management skills 
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
