Sheridan Maine is working with a well-established accountancy practice in South West London that is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team. The Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services. You will work closely with managers and partners while supporting junior staff within the team.


Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:

•  Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a diverse client portfolio
•  Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
•  Preparing management accounts and supporting with tax compliance
•  Assisting with client queries and providing practical accounting advice
•  Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
•  Ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met 

 
To be considered for the role of Senior Accountant, you will have/be: 

•  ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
•  Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
•  Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation
•  Excellent communication and organisational skills
•  Ability to manage multiple client assignments effectively
