Sheridan Maine is working exclusively with successful and rapidly growing organisation to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with previous management accounting experience, to join a business with a supportive and collaborative work culture.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful Management Accountant will be pivotal to the team, and the financial success of the organisation.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Preparation of monthly management accounts for companies within the Group
Assisting with the quarterly VAT returns
Authorising bank payments
Assisting with the annual budget and audit process
Updating the fixed asset register
Balance sheet reconciliation
Accruals and prepayments
Daily cashflow updates
Preparing and posting monthly journals
To be considered for the role of Management Accountant the following attributes are required:
Previous experience in a Management Accounting role
Part qualified and currently studying towards the ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualifications
The ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships
