Sheridan Maine is honored to represent a prominent multinational corporation with a strong global presence. Our client holds a distinguished position as an industry leader, recognised for its exceptional products and services offered to a global customer base. Presently, we are in search of a skilled and seasoned Tax Specialist to join our client's team in the role of Tax and Transfer Pricing Advisor.

This position has been established in response to a tax team restructuring, the expansion of cross-border transaction activities, and the growing demands of compliance requirements.
 
Responsibilities of the Tax and Transfer Pricing Advisor will include:

• Manage and implement tax planning strategies to optimise the corporation's tax position while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Assist with a range of tax related assignments and projects
• Collaborate with various teams, including finance, legal, and global tax teams, to support cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Manage relationships with various tax advisors across the world and seek appropriate and timely advice from them where required
• Provide tax support on various M&A’s, divestments or expansions projects
• Develop processes, drafting process notes and policies
• Develop and improve tax control procedures
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to senior management and wider organisation
• Manage and coordinate improvement and rationalisation of tax and legal structure
• Provide support on various UK and international Tax audits, Risk Reviews, Internal audits and APA’s
• Work closely with and support finance controllers on audit and statutory accounts

• ACCA/ACA finalist with experience in a Tax team of at least 5 years
• International tax experience gained in an in-house role or at big 4’s
• Proficient with SAP knowledge, Microsoft Office, an excel expert (comfortable using pivot tables and macros)
• Previous experience of using AlpaTax
• Ability to utilise project management skills
• Fluency in one of the European languages is advantageous
