Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a market leading organisation, who are seeking an experienced and pro-active Accounts Payable Specialist to work 20-25 hours per week, on an initial 18 month temporary contract.

Key day to day responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist will include:

  • Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers and other areas of the business to ensure all invoices are correctly processed
  • Resolving supplier queries and payment disputes (both internal and external)
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Review and approval of the weekly supplier payment run
  • Dealing with supplies in various countries and multi-currencies
  • Raising supplier payments
  • Looking at ways to improve processes and driving these forward
 
The successful Accounts Payable Speciliast will require the following qualifications and experience: 
  • Significant previous purchase ledger experience, gained from a high volume processing environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive and confident
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
