Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a market leading organisation, who are seeking an experienced and pro-active Accounts Payable Specialist to work 20-25 hours per week, on an initial 18 month temporary contract.

Key day to day responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist will include:
Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices
Liaising with suppliers and other areas of the business to ensure all invoices are correctly processed
Resolving supplier queries and payment disputes (both internal and external)
Supplier statement reconciliations
Review and approval of the weekly supplier payment run
Dealing with supplies in various countries and multi-currencies
Raising supplier payments
Looking at ways to improve processes and driving these forward
The successful Accounts Payable Speciliast will require the following qualifications and experience:
Significant previous purchase ledger experience, gained from a high volume processing environment
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
Proactive and confident
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
