A newly created role to help with the development of a world class Group FP&A function, within a high growth, acquisitive business which is going from strength to strength. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to truly shape their role and add significant value.

The Role
In this brand newly-created Group FP&A Manager role you'll have lots of opportunity to use your resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to help create a FP&A structure worthy of a global corporate, working closely with colleagues and leaders around the global business to understand their needs and wants, supporting them where necessary. You'll provide insight into the current and longer term financial outlook, to improve decision support and commercial financial analysis and to support a robust budgeting and forecast process. In this role you can expect to:

  • Work with divisional Leaders to deliver financial analysis, business planning and regular reporting
  • Work with business management to understand performance, risks and opportunities across all the key metrics for the business area
  • Support the business in the design and maintenance of the Group balanced scorecard
  • Deliver the consolidation and maintenance of the Group balanced scorecard
  • Use MI and systems available to ensure an accurate, timely and efficient execution of Group business reporting
  • Play a key supporting role in developing Group business plans
  • Work with Divisional Finance to support the alignment of finance strategies
Some occasional travel to meet with your stakeholders will probably be useful in the pursuit of these goals, so willingness to travel internationally from time to time is a must, and you'll be expected to take a proactive approach to judging when it's better to be there in person.

The person
  • Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or finalist, or exceptional QBE
  • Strong FP&A skills - knowledge of how to build a budget from scratch
  • Proactive problem-solver - able to indentify opportunities to add value and come up with new ideas
  • Excellent relationship building skills - able to engage, build trust and influence
Salary to £65k + Bonus + 25 days A/L (with option to buy/sell days after 12 months service) + Pension
Hybrid working arrangements - 90% remote working (optional) with occasional (self-planned) international travel depending on the needs of the role
