Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join its finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the organisation.
 
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures
• Ensure quality control of financial transactions are processes, in particular the invoices posted by the teams
• Assisting with the preparation of accounts and files for year-end audit
• Support the Finance Controller in various ad-hoc tasks and projects

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Global experience including foreign currency accounting
