We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to become a valuable member of our client's London-based team. The successful candidate must have relevant experience within Hospitality/Retail business 

This role is dedicated to enhancing data accessibility and visualisation, ultimately contributing to the organisation's success. As a member of the Commercial Finance team, this position plays a crucial role in delivering top-tier Business Intelligence and management information. It involves collaborating closely with key business leaders, including the CEO, to generate valuable insights using a diverse range of tools.
 
Responsibilities of the Data Analyst include but not limited to:
 

  • Automate regular management information for senior stakeholders
  • Enhance existing Power BI reports for senior stakeholders
  • Document data extraction processes from various databases for analytics
  • Collaborate with finance teams to identify key data sources
  • Ensure data accuracy and documentation with IT and Transformation teams
  • Provide data-driven guidance on business drivers
  • Utilise data for insightful commentary on investments and development
  • Lead implementation and train finance team members
  • Improve efficiency and data quality in task processes
  • Streamline finance systems for efficient analysis
  • Offer general analysis support as needed
 
The successful Data Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
 
  • 2 years + experience in a relevant role
  • Hospitality (or Retail) experience
  • QBE/relevant degree in finance/analytics
  • Proficiency in querying programming tools
  • Strong relationship-building skills, open to challenging assumptions
  • Innovative thinker, willing to challenge the status quo
  • Proactive, autonomous problem solver with creative communication skills
  • High attention to detail, precision in analysis and communication
  • Exceptionally organised, effective time manager, and adept at meeting deadlines
  • Business insight software experience is a plus
 
You will be required to be in the office 3 days per week.
