Our client, a cutting-edge green tech company, is on the hunt for a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to be part of a fast-growing, globally reaching, and high-demand market, making a positive impact on the environment.
 
Your responsibilities as the Finance Manager will include:

  • Responsible for the accounts payable and receivable.
  • Treasury management – analysing weekly and monthly cashflows.
  • Month-end accounting processes – responsible for calculating and posting month end accounting entries, including accruals, prepayments, transfers to inventory etc.
  • VAT compliance - completion and filing of required documents with HMRC, Companies House and other third parties as required.
  • Supporting in the preparation of management accounts – ensuring all accounts are appropriately reconciled and supporting with preparation of accompanying analysis and visuals.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts including ad-hoc analysis of budget and forecast outputs.
  • Conducting ad-hoc commercial analysis.
  • Supporting on statutory audits.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, senior management and external auditors.
  • Contributing to process development.
  • Assisting in system deployment and enhancements.

To be considered for the position of Finance Manager, you will require the following skills and experience:
  • Part qualified or newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), QBE also considered.
  • Highly self-motivated with drive and a desire to improve existing processes and approaches.
  • Proven experience in finance operations and accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
