Sheridan Maine is partnering with a Somerset-based organisation to find a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team. This position will require close collaboration with the development and site management team, in addition to external investors, for the daily management of financial accounts. The chosen candidate will receive comprehensive support and direction from the broader accounts department.
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Assistant will include:
Responding to internal and external queries
Maintaining records in Xero
Creating payment schedules
Managing credit control
Generating sales invoices
Handling supplier invoices
The successful Accounts Assistant will require the following skills and experience:
Ideally possessing Level 1 or 2 AAT qualifications or actively pursuing them
Full UK driving license (due to location of the office)
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills coupled with initiative and effective problem-solving ability
Proficiency in Microsoft software
Familiarity with Xero is advantageous, although full training will be provided
Ability to work in a small team
