Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established organisation based in the heart of Canary Wharf, London. Our client is a prominent player in their industry, known for their innovation, excellence, and commitment to their employees. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic finance team.
 
As a Credit Controller, you will be an integral part of the finance department, ensuring the efficient management of the company’s debtor portfolio.
 
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and collecting debts of company debtors.
  • Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings.
  • Setting up the terms of credit for new clients.
  • Negotiating payment plans with customers.
  • Processing and reconciling invoices.
  • Ensuring timely payments from customers.
  • Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant.
  • Handling queries and resolving issues related to credit and payments.
  • Liaising with clients and internal departments to expedite collections.
 
To be considered for the role of Credit Controller, you will require:
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
