Are you a qualified accountant seeking your next career move in Wiltshire? Sheridan Maine is thrilled to collaborate with a leading company to recruit an accountant for a newly established position. This presents a rare opportunity to become part of this interesting organisation.

Duties and responsibilities will cover:

• Foster positive relationships across the group, particularly with the Finance Team, to ensure consistent reporting. Handle month-end accounting, reporting, and forecasting, with analysis against budget and forecast. Maintain financial integrity by preparing and reviewing control account reconciliations.
• Keep accurate records of portfolio leases with the Property Team. Coordinate with the external Property Management company on financial data for the property portfolio. Incorporate new property acquisitions into portfolio accounting and monitor project costs and recoverable works costs.
• Prepare monthly cash forecasts for property activities. Support year-end reporting, including statutory accounts, audit documentation, and external audit assistance. Provide documentation for year-end tax computations, liaising with the property team and contractors. Help prepare annual budgets and five-year plans for property activities, and support the financial aspects of property acquisition processes.

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or QBE

• Exposure to property accounting would be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Diligent and thorough, with exceptional attention to detail and high levels of integrity and confidentiality
