Are you looking to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment? Sheridan Maine is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join a Surrey-based practice. Our client believes in nurturing growth and development, ensuring every team member feels valued and part of the family.
You will be part of a small, client-focused team dedicated to delivering top-notch compliance work for a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities will include:
Daily, weekly or monthly bookkeeping
Maintaining client records
Monthly reporting and management accounts
VAT returns
Statutory Accounts
Corporation Tax
Payroll
Personal Tax
Company Secretarial
Responding to queries
Assisting with other projects as required
To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant, you will require:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a practice environment.
Studying for AAT qualifications with a keen interest in completing your ACA/ACCA qualification via a level 7 apprenticeship.
Proficiency in Xero software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
