Our client is at the forefront of innovation and is seeking an Asset-Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team. As an Asset-Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records of the company's assets and inventory. This position requires a strong blend of financial analysis, data management, and operational support, making it crucial for the company’s day-to-day efficiency.
 
Your responsibilities as the Asset-Finance Assistant will include:

  • Maintain and update records of the company’s assets and inventory.
  • Conduct regular asset audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare asset-related schedules for financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments for asset transfers and disposals.
  • Ensure compliance with asset-related policies and procedures
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee routine inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial analysis on asset and inventory balances/projects.
  • Provide insights into asset and inventory projects.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards to monitor asset deliveries in line with major contracts and deployment timelines.
 
The successful Asset-Finance Assistant will require:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP4HANA) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
