Sheridan Maine is excited to partner with a leading and innovative Tech business based in the heart of the City of London. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional to contribute to an evolving business that offers hybrid working (2 days office-based per week) and excellent career growth prospects.
 
Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator include:

  • Capture monthly and weekly payroll records across all entities within the Group using SAP.
  • Perform accounting-compliant payroll reconciliations across all entities within the Group.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording (in SAP) of wage payments, deductions, benefits, and associated payroll liabilities.
  • Prepare payroll liability reconciliations to support open liabilities on the balance sheet.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, ensuring all filings and payments are made in line with legislation.
  • Maintain accurate payroll data, including deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll liabilities within SAP.
  • Generate payroll reports and analysis as required by internal stakeholders.
 
To be considered for the role of Payroll Administrator, you will need the following skills & experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration and processing, ideally within a fast-paced or tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software, particularly Workday and ADP, is highly beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with SAP4HANA or similar payroll software.
