"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships." Michael Jordan. Our client, based in North Somerset, is seeking a proactive and driven Management Accountant to join their team. If you are AAT qualified (ACCA/CIMA part qualified) with experience in management accounting, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include, but will not be limited to:
Assist the accounts team in preparing:
Monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Group accounts consolidation (within the published timetable)
Contribute to the preparation of:
Annual budgets
Year-end accounts and schedules
Focus on business improvement, aiming to enhance the efficiency of accounts processes to support overall productivity.
The successful Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
AAT Level 4 minimum or working towards ACCA/CIMA
Strong communicator with the ability to align activities toward shared goals
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, complex formulas, data analysis)
Deadline-driven and effective under pressure
Knowledge of industry KPIs and management account analysis for improvement opportunities
Capable of following processes and working independently on delegated projects
Experience with Keyloop ‘Drive’ (formerly CDK) or Kerridge Rev 8 is a plus but not required
