Sheridan Maine is partnering with a Bristol-based client to recruit a talented Assistant Management Accountant for a permanent role. Your responsibilities as the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
Oversee month-end close and deliver monthly/quarterly P&Ls
Drive problem-solving and process improvements
Review P&Ls with Operations and Finance teams to support financial performance insights for investors
Prepare monthly management accounts and compare to Budget/Forecast
Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations
Deliver business and financial analysis as needed
Support property audits by addressing auditor requests promptly
Assist with new property setups or disposals
Respond to property investor queries
Provide support to other departments as required
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or fully qualified AAT
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance team
Proficient in Excel
Experience with month-end processes
Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Confident, proactive, and excellent communicator
Self-motivated with initiative
